In my 23 years of high education and cooperate working life, mentor has always been a great tool for me to grow. I had various mentors that helped me in different part of the life and career. Even as of today, I hold deep gratitude to my mentors. Some were my teachers, some were my boss, some were just my friends. When I was capable to mentor others, I know I treasure the opportunity and will do my best to help young people. And when I began to take the mentor role, I realized it's not only mentee learn from me, but I learn and inspire from them as well.
I got an unexpected message 2 weeks ago from my first client in US. We started work since Oct. 14 to help the company to sharpen target consumer, identify brand architecture and identify the right benefit promise of the products. They have superior products, just that lacks a clear cut of the brand planning. Even though it's a small business, I was so happy we all agreed it still need right strategy.
Excited to start my twitter connection. After careful consideration, I'll have two blogs and two twitter account achieving different goal.

This is Beijing. My third hometown. I stayed in BJ from end 1997 to mid 2008. It's a a most important city in my life. Saying so, I finished most of my life/career transition in this city. I date from here, marry, had my dearest daughter; I stayed here for in my first and best company, I also made decision to leave and transfer to SH. I can say Bejing witnessed my most core life transition.
Beijing is full of history. If you walk in the inter-circle of the city, there's always stories you can find. Beijing is a history of Han and Man dynasty, you can see this city is full of culture merge and that affected it's culture, econimic, thinking even to nowadays.
After almost 3 months preparation, my own home business came into being. It is still 2 months ahead of my planning. One the day when I get license approval, I don't feel that much joyment but a lot pressure and feel of challenge. How the company will look like? Am I ready to transfer myself from a corperate working person into a self-running business type of person? How I going to sustain this small business, just like my baby on hand now. But more than that, it is a feel of obligation. I gave birth to it, let me do my best to maintain it. No matter how long and how well I'll keep this business, I hope I'll regret of this decision and all the effort I've put and will put into it.
It is on Jun. 4 that I got business license. It is also my mom's birthday. Hope my mum will bless me of my new trial in life.
